Hwy was raised in Francis Villa Apartments in Moncks Corner there he learned about the streets ie: stealing cars, drinking, smoking, hustling etc. On those same streets Bradley Rd., is where he used to freestyle on the corner, battling people in rhyming. Hwy was twenty one years old when he began to take music seriously and was soon introduced to Monky Fist Records. With M.F.R. he started out as a featured artist but soon rose to President. Hwy went to Dallas, Texas and got on a compilation album with Grifter Records, currently known as World Fame Records. In 2003 Hwy backed out of M.F.R. and he along with fellow CEO J. Blizzard started Fire-Fire Entertainment. Hwy also has a single along with Ms. T-Wan on the three song cd entitled "Gettin' Dirty Down Ya". Hwy has been interviewed by a radio station in Dallas, Texas and Fire-Fire Entertainment has been interviewed by 94.3 in Charleston, SC.
