J. Doe represented the streets to the fullest. In the late 1990's he was incarcerated for distribution of drugs. Upon his release he decided what he really wanted to do was make music for the people who have or are going through what he went through. He never graduated from high school but did succeed in obtaining his GED. J Doe got his will and drive from his mother (Mrs. Mary Lee Rogers) who is now deceased. The two most important people in his life were his sister and daughter. J. Doe came up on the corner freestyling, smashing opponents who got in his path with cold, gutter lyrics. Some of the people he listened to was Master P., Ghetto Boy's, U.G.K. and Tupac. He also made music with different local labels but seemed to think they weren't about business. J. Doe hooked up with Fire-Fire Entertainment and had a single that is due to be released in the summer of 2005. He has done shows with Fire-Fire and was making an impact on these streets of Charleston, SC. Southeast Talent would like to offer the family of J Doe, Fire Fire Entertainment and all those that were fortunate enough to meet Johnny our deepest heartfelt condolences. |
