Started singing at age 9 when she first heard “The Greatest Love Of All” by Whitney Houston

Made her public debut at age 14 in a local talent show singing “Part Of Me” by En Vogue

Numerous artists have influenced her including Whitney Houston, Deborah Cox, Mariah Carey, and Luther Vandross

La Chan listens to various types of music but she is mainly interested in R&B and soul. She likes old and new school from Natalie Cole and The Isley Brothers to R. Kelly and Alicia Keys.

La Chan has a very versatile vocal style and at last count a three octave range. she would like to be a new school artist with old school style and flare.
